Fairy Houses

On Friday Room 7 went to Jubilee Park to build fairy houses. The children were very excited and made some lovely houses in small groups. Fun was had by all! It was lovely to listen to the conversations the children were having and the amount of problem solving that went on. Their imaginations were working overtime. The children would really like to thank all the parents that came and were part of our trip.

These children used sticks, leaves, flowers and berries to build their house.

These children had leaves, shells, sticks, flowers and some berries in their house.

These children found different coloured leaves and used sticks and ponga fronds tomkae their house.

Thses children found a log and used leaves and sticks to make their house. They even had an elevator.

These children made a little fence of sticks and used the base of a tree and pine cones to make a shelter for the fairies.
